Great News. Under new Management, a very much improved, Louisiana Pacific Canada Ltd., has renewed our contract on September 6th 2023 at the Peace Valley OSB Plant (PV OSB) in Fort St. John. We will be back working year round. Our current contract with Canfor at the mile 118 log yard, just north west of Wonowon, BC currently is only about 6 months a year.
Louisiana Pacific Canada Ltd., with their new management, was very respectfully and fair. They made up very well for their previous managers, very poor way, SNV was treated at shut down in 2019.
SNV current work at Canfor’s log yard north west of Wonowon, BC
Met with Canfor During spring break up. They indicated they are happy with SNV. They thus, as of early July/21, have put as back to work at the mile 118 log yard.
Louisiana Pacific Canada Ltd., now, as much as confirmed, that they are going to operate the Peace Valley OSB log yard themselves.
Six Nations Ventures job, involving unloading trucks in a remote log yard north of Wonowon has stopped for the spring break up. Later on, there should be work loading trucks to transport timber onto the Canfor mill in Fort St. John. Again, Canfor has been very considerate in providing us work. They indicated that we organized the logs decks very well.
Note also, that we have not received any notice from Louisiana Pacific Canada Ltd., to return to work in their yard, but it appears they are not willing to work with us, as they are currently taking wood into their yard without calling us. In fact, they have not communicated with us at all, since shutting down and have not returned any of our requests to discuss.

Attention : Shareholders, Directors and Community Members
I am pleased to announce that after 16 months without a contract, we have a new contract with Canfor. A contract to supply men and equipment to assist with a log reload at mile 118 on the Alaska Highway has been signed. The contract starts Jan 30, 2021 and ends October 1, 2021 with a possible extension and significant increase in volume handled.
We will have (2) 880 Tiger Cat log loaders as well as (2) 966M wheel loaders on site. The initial contract will likely only require one Tiger Cat and one 966M wheel loader.
Rick and Randy Hansen both long term employees with Six Nations Ventures have come on board again and we are thankful for that. Both proven equipment operators during our contracts with Peace Valley OSB.
Other than log handling, our duties will include snow removal and sanding. Our 2011 chev service truck will be used to transport operator and fuel to the site. Our 2016 F-350 flat deck is equipped with sander and will be used to transport operator and sand the site and access to site.
The wisdom of our directors has paid off. The directors voted to keep the necessary equipment to operate a log yard and now we are getting that opportunity and we have the perfect equipment line up to service this contract. I thank the directors for their continued support and participation in making Six Nations Ventures a successful company that is guided by treating employees, managers and customers with dignity and respect.
We look forward to working with Canfor now and well into the future. Above all we thank Canfor for this opportunity.

SNV purchases heavy equipment
SNV recently purchased a D6, wide pad, Caterpillar and also a Caterpillar 966 loader is on order. This is because of additional work load in yard and hauling waste material off site etc.
New SNV employee
Congratulations to Darlyn Walker of BRFN who has joined our janitor team!
Six Nations Ventures has just been awarded the contract to truck the Hog fuel (waste from the mill) away from the mill. Contract is expected to last a long time. This is good news, as the company, because of the forestry industry downturn, has not expanded for some time. Thankfully we have the trucking to look after this.
Six Nations Ventures has taken delivery of a new Western Start Tri drive gravel truck with pup. There has been much demand for SNV to supply this service.
Another Prophet River First Nations Band member has joined our Janitor team. Her name is Judy Hannah. We welcome Judy to our team
Profits for 2014 were down from 2013, because PV OSB's cranes ran very well this year. We get extra work when cranes are down, as we did in 2013. That affects our bottom line.
SNV management are willing to attend any community meeting to update community members about SNV. Just email Lyle@LRM.ca
Feb 7, 2015, marks the 10 year anniversary since Six Nations Ventures received the first load of logs at PV OSB and where in full operation.
